Body Series

The Body Series, with works created in 2016 and 2021, explores female sexuality and contrasts it with simple yet pleasing dynamic forms. These pieces were created over a range of years and include a collaboration with artist PLANTTDADDII. The artwork, ur my click-bait baby girl, marked Ruggiero's foray into creating artwork with glossy bodies, which she continues to use as a hyper-realistic motif to this day. The bodies in this series are set alongside internet iconography or sweets, giving each piece a more dynamic and thorough mood.
