New York Times — 3D Illustrations

These 3D Illustrations were created for the New York Times for several different articles, ranging in topics like girls and tech, Chinese computer chips, and the proper use of devices amongst kids. The 3D-rendered images and animations were created between 2018 and 2021, using the following 3D software: Cinema 4D, Octane Render, Substance Painter, and ZBrush. The 3D illustrations explore the intersection of technology and humanity with a surreal, futuristic aesthetic by depicting digital devices blending with an uncanny reality.
